I've been in the floor sanding and restoration trade for years, and it's often a surprising field for many. People are often amazed that someone can come to their home, use a dust-free floor sander, and completely transform their floors.

To excel in this trade, you need a passion for wood, a deep understanding of different timbers, floor types, finishes, and abrasives, as well as specialized equipment. The sanders used by professional companies are far superior to the cheap rental options, and are designed for a high-quality finish.

While I'm not the best at taking photos or videos of our floor sanding projects, Danny Sandhouse has done an incredible job of showcasing this trade.
